Functie

Main purpose of the role

In this position you will be working as a Risk Officer for G-Star Raw in Amsterdam. Your main goal will be helping to design and implement G-Star’s risk & control framework as well as bringing the internal control environment to a higher professional level.

Daily you will be dealing with identification, assessment, monitoring and reporting of operational, IT and financial reporting risks and key controls. Also – in close cooperation with the business and (senior) management teams – you will be responsible for developing and improving the internal control framework. Partly you will be responsible for a few major strategic projects, e.g., the implementation of a new GRC Tooling and the key control automation project for G-Star Global.

Required qualifications/level of education

  • WO Master’s degree;
  • 3-5 years of demonstrable work experience with risk management / auditing / internal control;
  • Auditing or operational risk background (client-side experience in addition to consultancy experience is preferred);
  • Detailed oriented with strong analytical and written communication skills;
  • Skilled in data analysis and MS Office Excel;
  • Able to work under pressure and prioritize to meet deadlines and targets;
  • Enthusiastic, ambitious, proactive, driven, self-starting and enjoying change;
  • Fully comfortable with working in English, both written and spoken.

Renumeration

  • Full time job, may be fully from the office in Amsterdam or combined with working from home;
  • Salary (yearly based): 75K (all in);
