Carlo Bavius RE RO CRISC CRMA CIA has been active in the audit and risk practice for over 20 years. He started his career in IT Auditing and Consulting and worked at EY for 9 years. Carlo held a number of management roles in Internal Audit, first at Van Lanschot Bankiers and then 10 years at Eneco Group (since 2007), where as CAE he built the Internal Audit Function from the ground up.
In 2015, he reorganized all decentralized risk management functions into one central Group Risk Management Department. He was then appointed Chief Risk Officer for Eneco Group until the unbundling of Eneco and Stedin in 2017. Carlo teaches on a number of university Audit courses and was for a number of years a member of the board of professional association IIA and chairman of the SVRO. He is accredited by the IIA to conduct the mandatory 5-year IIA quality assessment.
Carlo Bavius will be responsible within ARC People for Internal Audit Co- and Outsourcing services, answering separate assurance issues and advising internal audit functions. 'With these services we give additional focus to the increasing demand of audit functions for flexibility, expertise and efficiency.
