ARC People's recruitment team has a lot of contact with clients and candidates every day, and many of you have had contact with one of them at one time or another. But who are they and what do they actually do? Through a mutual interview, we would like to put someone from our team at the center of each newsletter.

Marlous Hoogendoorn - Talent Sourcer

Working at ARC People since May 2019. Totally new to job placement, but with a lot of experience from the financial world. Living in Hilversum, married to an Englishman and 2 children. When I am not busy with my family, I can be found on the soccer field as coordinator for youth soccer.

What drives you in your work?

Searching for the right people and finding the best talents for our clients.

Why do you enjoy working at ARC People?

A small but great team with whom we all work hard to achieve great matches. And it is super cool to get to know and develop in the world of job placement. I learn new things every day.

Briefly describe your workday

My day starts first with a cup of coffee. Once everyone is in the office we have a short work meeting and in it we decide our actions for the day. I always prioritize which vacancy I am going to look for and then I get to work searching.

What is your added value within the team?

According to my colleagues, my cheerfulness, presence and my good search of candidates for our clients.

Among other things, what do you do when you're not working?

I do a lot with my children, volunteer for the soccer club and I regularly enjoy socializing with family and friends, such as eating out, having a drink, going to the cinema, etc.
