No copy-paste approach. My experience with AuditPeople

Sept. 7, 2017
Yet another InMail message on my LinkedIn account from an intermediary who viewed my profile with great interest. Auditors are in demand and get connection requests weekly, if not daily. Interesting job opportunities are flying around our ears.

A large proportion of intermediaries do not take the time to send a personal message. I am aware that it is a luxury problem, but what do you do when you get so many messages and/or invitations? You become selective in whether or not to respond to a message or accept an invitation.

I was contacted by AuditPeople in March 2016. From the beginning a personal approach and within a week I met one of the recruitment managers over a cup of coffee. There was a click and we started working together.

A wide and good network

After the contact is made, I find it important that an intermediary has a wide network of diverse and challenging positions. There are many intermediaries who have an assignment and do their utmost to supply candidates. I feel that regularly the importance of delivering a candidate takes precedence over the importance of the perfect match.

At AuditPeople, I don't have this feeling. My needs are central in choosing a place where I spend much of the week. With in-depth knowledge of the organization, AuditPeople guided me well in preparing for the application process. From the beginning to the end of the procedure, we worked together.

Good contact even after the perfect match

Nowadays it is not so obvious to work for decades with the same employer. After a successful and pleasant cooperation, it is important to me that the relationship remains intact. After all, you already know each other and you know what you can gain from each other. Occasional catch-up and mutual interest are the key words for me.

Almost a year and a half after the introduction, I am still in regular contact with AuditPeople. We don't talk about vacancies, but about both my development and the development of AuditPeople. A relationship we both benefit from and who knows what the future holds.

The feeling must be right

There are many job openings and many intermediaries. But how do you know which intermediary to work with? As far as I am concerned, the feeling and overall picture must be right. That sounds a bit abstract and there are many circumstances and factors that determine the feeling. For me, trust is important. I must have the case that my qualities and talents are central. The perfect match follows naturally.

AuditPeople's personal and down-to-earth approach without fuss and quick talk really appealed to me. This laid the foundation for a good feeling, a successful cooperation and a lasting relationship.
