Starter in the audit world

Jan. 31, 2016
Completed a master's degree and there you are. A world full of career opportunities, what to do and what suits me? Auditing, a completely unknown world, piqued my interest in the wide range of job offers. But what triggered this interest? In particular, the competencies in the vacancy for the traineeship at AuditPeople, such as analytical, conversational and independent attracted my attention. After delving further into Auditing, I actually became more and more enthusiastic about the field.

First of all, a job as an auditor offers the opportunity for varied work. You perform Audits at different locations, at various levels within the organization. In addition, you work both independently and as part of a team, and value is placed on your work.

The position proves very interesting because you get to investigate relevant issues within the organization, accessing company information to find out how processes, structures, projects and codes of conduct are set up. As a result of these findings, the board and other responsible managers are to be advised. I enjoy the challenge of performing this important function and sharing responsibility for the functioning of the organization. In addition, as an Auditor you are in a position to look at the organization with a helicopter view, which provides opportunities to learn even more about the functioning of the company.

Finally, the traineeship at AuditPeople offers me the opportunity to learn a lot in a short period of time and to develop into a full-fledged Auditor, with the prospect of advancement, both professionally and personally.
